The initiative Urban Mobility Laboratories (UML) of the Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology (bmvit) supports the creation of novel, experimental environments in which innovative mobility and transport solutions can be researched, tested and implemented by science and industry together with citizens, politics and administration as well as other stakeholder groups. The resulting structural framework should significantly advance research, technology and innovation (RTI) in terms of efficiency as well as effectiveness (implementation and effectiveness).
